Hi, I'm Tina
A Lifestyle and Wellbeing Blogger. I live near Cambridge, UK with my gorgeous husband Gareth and lovable Labrador Harvey.
Through self-awareness and changing daily practices, I have learnt to retrain my brain, slow down and shine in life. I can help you do the same. I have years of experience coaching leaders in organisations through change. Now I can help individuals make change; through my blog, free resources, online workshops and ebooks.
Calm the chaos in your mind and life, so you can shine in all you CHOOSE to do
More About Me
I was a perfectionist, and everything had to be “just-so.” It was tiring and difficult, to give myself such high standards or expectations. Does this sound familiar? I was suffering with anxiety and exhaustion and it couldn't go on.
I realised something had to change for me to enjoy life again
I have always been passionate about self-development, so I set about retraining my brain to get my shine back, with self-care being paramount. I am now also, a strong believer in keeping things simple and calming the chaos which leaves more time for simple pleasures in life.
I created Simply Shine to inspire other women to shine.
I use my coaching and influencing skills from my corporate HR career and years of experience making positive changes to my life, to inspire and motivate other women to go after the life that they want. This is through the three key areas of simple living, self-care and self-development, on my blog, social media and ebooks.
A Few Things I Love
If you want to keep me happy: bring me coffee, candles and fresh flowers
If you want to know what I'm watching: Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family or Catch Phrase
If you want to know what I'm reading: Ali McNamara, Zoe Folbigg or any number of self-development books
If you want to know what I'm doing: walks with Harvey, evenings with friends, planning a home project or having a G&T with Gareth (have you noticed our initials are G&T?)
