It’s taken me a little while to write my Wellbeing Wednesday post. I felt “out of sorts” in July. Progress with wellbeing and fitness goals was slow. Can I blame the heat? Well partly, because it has increased my fatigue and thrown out our daily routine. July was a successful month in many other ways, but I couldn’t shift this feeling, that I needed to do something to get my wellbeing back on track. I needed a new approach and I think I’ve found it.
I drafted out a few notes on what was on my mind. What was off-balance and what could I do to resolve it. It seemed like the perfect time to set new goals with a new approach to goal-setting. Have a positive, focused mindset and conscious reflection. Something I could do/use at the beginning and end of every day. One where I can harness my self-awareness and keep myself accountable but also have a record of how well I’m doing each day. I then discovered; The Daily Greatness Journal!
I am a few days in and I am really getting so much out of the experience. The daily pages, divided between a morning and evening session are used to align you with your intentions and your goals and to train your mind to focus on positive thoughts. This as you know, is something I am really passionate about. positive thoughts and the messages you tell yourself, are just so powerful.
Before you even get to these pages, there are “Life Clarity Worksheets.” They use inspiration and prompts to tune into what your authentic self truly wants. There is a lot to work through, so allow yourself some good uninterrupted time to really make the most of it. I’ve noticed a difference in my day; for the first time I have stuck to an evening routine involving focused reflection every evening.
You don’t just need to take my word for it. I asked on Instagram for other people’s thoughts, just have a read of these amazing reviews.
Taking the time in the mornings has been so helpful just by starting the day by thinking about what I am grateful for and setting the day. It makes me more in control of my day, rather than just going along. And then answering the questions after the day make me really think about what kind of person I am and if I want to change anything. My favourite thing about this journal is the “my greatness blueprint” That REALLY made me see where I’m at and what I need to do. Making me put a time frame for my goals makes me start following my dreams now, instead of just wishing and thinking about them. When I finish this one I will definitely get another one. Also think it’s great how it makes you do a weekly check up. By doing that I really become excited for the week, which is awesome.

I started using the Daily Greatness Journal last summer I use to map out my future plans and goals more intentionally, productively and mindfully. The journal has also developed my planning and productivity techniques as I now planwith care and thought, focusing on what I truly want and need in life based on the bigger picture. As a result I am more grateful, positive and mindful of my goals and dreams!

I’ve only been using the Daily Greatness Journal for a week and a half but I’ve been battling some pretty bad anxiety and panic attacks for the last six months. This week I’ve found my mind easier to calm, my morning and evening routine have become something I’m actually looking forward to and I’m feeling much less rushed and flustered in the morning. Some of the questions have pushed me to address fears I had buried, but I’m finding it rewarding. I’m also really looking forward to my morning yoga practice as a quiet space for me, and I haven’t had a panic attack since I started it. Which doesn’t seem long, but a week and a half panic free is quite a record for me at the moment.

It has helped me set goals within my yoga practice but also in my every day life. At the beginning of the journal it has a life blueprint for you to write, a weekly check in to reflect on what happened the past week then plan the next week, a 90 day check in and planner and a yearly review. For me, this journal keeps me in the present with my yoga practice and helps me with my everyday life.

So as those reviews show, it is so much more than a planner or a journal in the way we might imagine. Used to it’s full potential it promotes wellbeing, and provides self-care, self-development and opportunities to shine in life!
