Maybe you’d like to incorporate more self-care activities into your weekend, but you’re not really sure where to start. Well today I’ve got 7 self-care activities you can do this weekend, to feel healthier and happier and shine that little bit brighter. Let’s keep this simple and get right to it.

1. Go for a Walk in Nature

2. Spend Time with Friends

We are social beings and we need people in our lives. It is important that we spend time developing relationships with others; both friends and family and our wider circle. Surround yourself with those that make a positive influence in your life. Who make you smile and inspire you.

3. Create a Vision Board

A vision board allows you to exercise your imagination and create a more vivid vision of your ideal life. You’ll have clear images of what to work towards. Creating a vision board can be lots of fun too, as you dream of what you’d like your life to be like. Use cuttings from a magasine or Pinterest.

4. Buy Yourself Some Flowers

Flowers are lovely whatever time of the year. They brighten up any room, as well as brightening your mood. Don’t wait to be treated, treat yourself!

5. Spend Time Reflecting on the Week

Did you achieve what you set out to do? What did you learn? What do you want to take forward into next week?

6. Declutter

If you have things in your home that make you feel worse when you see them — like clothes that you plan on fitting into again “one day,” or mementos of an old relationship — get rid of them.

7. Read

Grab a cuppa or a glass of something, turn your phone to silent and get lost in a book.
