2019 has been a big year for Simply Shine. There’s been quite a few changes to the site, including a new header, which I think suits the brand so much more. Look out for it on other things coming soon, like your emails. I updated the About page, so you can really see what Simply Shine is all about and more about me, the blogger behind the brand. The site has a new Resources page, where you’ll find the freebies that and the ebooks to help you even further. Speaking of which, I launched two products this year; Know You’re Worth It guide and the Mind Body and Soul guide to self-care, both of which are having a revamp in 2020.
I’m really exciting about the new year, and offering you even more value. However in the mean time, let’s count down of the top blog posts of 2019. These are the posts that you commented on the most, with interesting results…

If our mornings don’t remind us that we have a purpose and value to give-we are less likely to begin our day with joy. Self-care can take many forms and for two posts in this countdown, the focus is on self-care for the mind. It is about learning and developing, but it is also about resting, simplifying and de-cluttering. Focusing on what is important and dismissing the rest, being mindful and self-aware. Part 1 looks at learning and development and how to rest and recharge.
Part 2 of introducing self-care for the mind, explains mindfulness, mindset and simplifying. For me is quite often about being in control of the inner critic or negative talk. Ensuring that you are thinking positively and being kind to yourself. One of my favourite subjects!
This is the most personal aspect of wellbeing; it is about living a life with meaning and purpose. It is about getting in touch with your values and what really matters to you, so you can live intentionally. Spiritual self care is any ritual or practice that we do to further our connection with who we truly are as an individual, the real you. Learn more in this blog post.
When we think of self-care, we often think of massages and pedicures. Those are fantastic but certainly not part of daily self-care. In this blog post, I introduce you to self-care for your body and give you a number of ideas to help you look after the place that you live!
There could be any number of reasons why you’ve developed low confidence or low self-esteem. It can be due to a life event that has knocked your confidence and/or changed your outlook. An appropriate time of year to remind you of this blog post; all about clearing the clutter from last year so you can start the new year afresh. Embrace those new opportunities and make the most of the enthusiasm and motivation a new year brings.
And the post at the no.1 spot for number of comments in 2019; having a simply wardrobe. Imagine opening your wardrobe doors and seeing all your clothes neatly on hangers or folded in draws. The hanging clothes are facing the same way, on matching hangers. They may be colour coded, or sorted depending on item type. All the colours co-ordinate, so you can mix and match with everything. It is easy to pick out an outfit to wear, because you can see where everything is/what you have. If you like the sound of this so far, this blog post is for you.
So there you have it-the countdown of the top blog post for 2019, by number of comments. But all this could change. Let me know in the comments what your top posts have been this year and what you would like to see more of next year.
